  2. Description and Location of Jews in Israel Jews are found all over the country of Israel, they live in major cities as well as rural areas. The majority of the people in Israel are Jewish. Israel is a very small country, but has many different features like the Negev desert in the south to the mountain ranges of the Galilee. The dead sea is found in Israel which because of all the salt in the water lets you float on the water. The western wall, which was part of the Temple that was destroyed many years ago.

  3. History of Jews in Israel The Jewish community in Israel started in 1945 after the Second World War when Israel was declared a Jewish state. Jews from the diaspora moved to Israel as it was a land were the could escape punishment. Today Israel is open to Jews and all different kinds of people from all over the world.
