Pink in the Park Baseball Game and Auction for Cancer Awareness Who: Tri-Valley Varsity Baseball Team vs. Indian Valley Braves When: Saturday, April 9, 2011 @ 2:00 PM Where: Diamond Dawgs Baseball Field Why: “Go to Bat Against Cancer” to raise money & awareness for the “Cancer Concern Coalition”, a Muskingum County organization assisting cancer patients.
Pink in the Park Pregame Celebration • Cancer patient/survivors will be honored on the field during the pre-game festivities, beginning at 1:45 PM • For the game’s first pitch, a breast cancer survivor, Melody Albertson, will throw the baseball to represent all cancer survivors and patients. • A live auction featuring “pink” items will take place between games (approximately 3:30 PM) Items include a pink game ball, Longaberger pink pottery, hand turned pink pen, fleece cancer ribbon blanket and Tri-Valley items.
Cancer patient/survivors should plan to register at 1:15 pm at the high school baseball field. Fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing pink. Pink in the Park Baseball GameSaturday, April 9th
