Where do they live and what do they eat? • The Arctic covers eight countries • Penguins are adaptable to the climate. This means they can live in freezing cold conditions or warmer. However they do prefer the cold. • Penguins eat fish. Mother penguins search for food whilst the fathers nurse the baby penguins.
Penguin Poem Penguins are small and waddle around, Can be black, grey or white, So it is hard to be found. They eat fish for food, And water for thirst. Mother penguin goes hunting, While father penguin stays to nurse. Because they are small they have to be careful, Of big scary sea lions wanting them in their belly. They can slide on their bellies to get around, Then get in the sea so food can be found.
