  10. Setbacks & Solutions • Write-blocker cable not available. • New Zealand Metadata Harvester not opening. • New Zealand XML not compatible with Dspace. • Manually compiling metadata. • Preparing file directory for ingest.

  13. Conclusions • Work collaboratively with IT staff at your institution. Do not be afraid to ask questions! • Articulate a scalable and clearly defined archival strategy at the onset of your project, but be flexibleand open to improvisation.
