  1. AN ARMY WITHOUT SOLDIERS!

  2. Progress is tidal. There is a settling down tendency in human nature. If there is not a tide, we must make one. -General William Booth

  3. Who is a Soldier? • A converted person at least 14 years of age, who has with the approval of the pastoral care council, been enrolled as member of The Salvation Army after signing the Soldier’s Covenant. -TRUE OR FALSE?

  4. Letter dated 06/04/2011 by the Salvation Army Association, signed by its secretary Lt. Col. Davidson Varghese, to the Government tells IT IS FALSE !

  5. Members on the roll of the church owned and managed by the company(The Salvation Army) are not the members of the company(The Salvation Army).

  6. So, Who Are We In The Army?

  7. THE BITTER TRUTH IS WE ARE NOBODY! WE ARE STRANGERS!

  8. Some smart(?) soldiers may question (though questioning is a sin in the Salvation Army) • We are paying our stewardship. • We have the receipt for our stewardship.

  9. The Salvation Army proclaims that the Stewardship receipt is neither a subscription nor a fee. It is a voluntary offering paid by members on the roll of the Churches.

  10. If this is the fate of the receipted Stewardship, what about the other non receipted offerings like… -Self Denial Offering -Sunday Offering -Thanks giving Offering -Sunday Class Offering -Least Coin Sunday Offering -Home League Offering -Bible Sunday Offering -Leprosy Sunday Offering -Harvest Festival Offering -Christmas Carol Collection -Poor women’s wedding Offering

  11. Faith and Works must be your steps when you march, said the General. Not Lie and Deception!

  12. General Said I have founded the Salvation Army with the aid of the Holy Spirit, so that everyone who comes across it will find the way to live fully here and eternally there. But if my officers and my soldiers fail to have the passion, the compassion for souls, I pray that the whole Army is eradicated from the surface of this earth.

  13. In India, the Salvation Army could attract only the Dalits by their slogan- soap, soup and salvation. These down trodden Dalits were converted to the Salvation Army Christians. Presently there are almost 300,000 Dalits in India, who believe that they are members of the Salvation Army. BUT THEY ARE NOT!

  14. The initial works of the early missionaries towards the Dalits’ social, educational and medical fields were unquestionable. What is the present situation?

  15. 300, 000 Dalits, who are supposed to get the benefits of our Government were converted to Christians and made SOLDIERS of the Salvation Army. People, who joined Army, forsaking the benefits of the Government are being treated as slaves by the Salvation Army.

  16. SLAVE is the other name for SOLDIER in the Salvation Army.

  17. In the name of GOD, the slavery system is being practiced in India for the past 120 years.

  18. The worst scenario is that the officers collect money from the slaves in various forms of offering. Community gains nothing.

  19. Officers and Local Officers have no community conscious. They are mere mercenaries

  20. The Salvation Army company in India is run by few business minded people. The Salvation Army’s investment is the poor Dalits and their ignorance.

  21. The State should intervene to save the unfortunate Dalit people from the cruelty of men of greed, who use human beings as mere instruments for money making!
