  2. Goal • Improving the subject knowledge of junior faculty of the department in the subjects being handled by them. • Making masters in atleast 3 – 4 subjects

  3. Plan for Achieving Goals Introducing Mentor – Mentee concept • Attaching a junior faculty (Mentee) to one of the senior faculty (Mentor) of the subject for one academic year. • The mentor provides the plan of action much advance to the commencement of the programme. • The mentee needs to attend the classes of the mentor. • He needs to solve all exercise problems in the prescribed text books. • He has to get certified in one or two NPTEL courses. • He has to appear for an exam conducted by mentor at the end of the programme.

  4. Obstacles / Problems Arises in Realising Goals • Acceptance of the faculty to re-learn, attending classes along with students. • Appearing for examinations. • Time shortage of masters • Availability of masters for some of the subjects

  5. Role of IUCEE in Accomplishing Goals • Providing subject experts if required by the institute • External evaluation of mentees at the end of the programme

  7. Goal • Bridging the gap between the institute and industry

  8. Plan for Achieving Goals • Getting to internships from many companies

  9. Obstacles • Companies are not willing to offer internships • No good number of companies in and around college

  10. Role of IUCEE in Accomplishing the goals • Can provide internships to students
