Introductions • Welcome everyone • General introductions • Name, Company, etc • NMMS is “all of our” solution for network modeling in ERCOT • Why is ERCOT excited about this solution • Opportunity to eliminate significant “manual work” • Opportunity to generate future dated models • Other ISOs are on our heals • Future road map of NMMS is starting to shape • SOA technology (2009/2010) • Enhanced reporting and UI (2009) 3 Texas Nodal

Current Status • Completed Conceptual System Design (posted on Nodal web site) • Completed Release 1 of CIM Extensions for Nodal • Collaborative effort by all ERCOT vendors (AREVA, ABB, Nexant, UISOL, Siemens, etc) • Published internally and can publish to MPs if needed • In process of completing UML Model (“Rose Model”) to describe schema • Next step will be to provide the schema to ERCOT vendors and MPs • In process of completing original UI designs (updates today by Siemens) • In process on building test scenarios and scripts • In process on creating initial load tool 4 Texas Nodal
