  1. Hi from Pam! I have been teaching English as a second language for 11 years now and have taught in a number of different countries including Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. I enjoy the fact that no two days are ever the same when teaching, and I love getting to know students from all over the world. I have always had a great passion for sport. After gaining a bachelors degree in Physical Education and Economics from Otago University in Dunedin, I worked for the Government and YMCA teaching and promoting sports and physical activity. My husband and I left for our OE in 1994, not knowing at that stage that we wouldn’t move back to New Zealand for another 10 years. When we returned we had accumulated a container load of belongings and 3 children, who were all born in Malaysia. Since being back we have had another child and now feel complete with our family of six. Our family is involved in a big variety of activities, mainly sports, and life is fairly hectic most of the time, but we love the lifestyle that Hawkes Bay has to offer and look forward to spending lots of action packed years here.
