Special Exception ULDC Chapter 14 - Definition: A land use that is not similar in nature to the uses permitted in the district for which application is made (or in any district), but which is desired in the community, with appropriate controls, where a suitable location is available. ULDC Chapter 3, Table 3-4 classifies Vehicle Rental/Leasingas Special Exception
Special Exception Standards • Is compatible with surrounding neighborhoods and promotes value of surrounding land or buildings with respect to: -Architecture – Existing building -Screening – Existing landscaping -Noise, sign and light control – None anticipated as a result of the use -Storm drainage; sanitation collection - Available
