  3. 1. Brushing : Start by brushing your dog before giving a bath. This should be done once a week for short coated ones and every alternate day for the long coated breed!

  4. 2. Hair Trimming : Using a scissor, cut the extra hair around the neck and the extra hairs around the pad.

  5. 3. Nail Clipping : You should take extra care while clipping your dog’s nail. Cut the nails keeping in mind that you don’t reach where the ‘pink’ part of the nail starts. Cutting it might lead to bleeding.

  6. 4. Bathing: Use water sprayer while giving bath. Make a dog wet, apply good quality shampoo and start rubbing and cleaning from head to tail. Dry your dog with cotton based towel.

  7. 5. Ear Cleaning : • To clean the ears  • – Soak some cotton in a prescribed ear cleaning solution • Wipe inside of the ear with it • - Be careful not to go in too deeply
