7. Sylast Lubricants-Optimized for kiss-roll application Sylast lubricants for lick roll application have been optimized to wet the lick roll with a uniform thin layer. When the thread comes into contact with this layer, the lubricant is transferred to the thread and spread out forming a homogeneous film on the surface of the thread.

8. Sylast Lubricants- compatible with all dosing pumps Sylast series range includes lubricants that are formulated to give optimum performance in dosing pump application. 10. Antistatic Properties Without antistatic agents, a very high static charge builds up on thread during sewing. Threads do not run smoothly, and this inevitably results in poor sewing & poor seam quality.

Friction and heat protection Standard lubricants hardly reduce friction on thread, & they are a significant factor in needle overheating without heat protection, sewing thread made of synthetic fiber will melt. This weakens the thread, leading to crust formation at needle. The result is thread breakage and limits on stitch frequency.
