  1. One of the first things couples look for once they are engaged and begin planning their wedding is the venue. If you have already selected your special date, then we recommend contacting your potential wedding venue and asking the following questions. Is the wedding venue available on our wedding day? Sounds like an obvious first question, but it definitely needs to be asked. There’s no point in visiting a possible wedding venue, falling in love with the idea of tying the knot there & not being able to make your dreams happen because another bride & groom got there first. How many guests can be seated for a meal at the venue? This is a crucial piece of information to ask your venue about. You do not want to reserve a wedding venue that has seating for 250 people if you are only inviting 60 to a sit-down meal. In turn, you also want to make sure your guests can sit comfortably or feel as if they are too far away from the main table. Once you have a rough idea of how many guests are being invited, you need to ensure your chosen wedding venue suits your requirements.

  2. How many guests can the wedding venue accommodate during the wedding reception? Some couples prefer to have a small & intimate wedding ceremony, and then follow that with the mother of all parties in the evening. If this is your plan, make sure that the wedding venue can accommodate this. You do not want to have 200 evening guests come to your wedding and then find them all uncomfortable and unable to move. At the same time, you want to make sure your wedding venue is not too big. Too much space can make it seem as if there is zero atmosphere and look as if the DJ or band are playing for a half- empty hall. Do you have preferred vendors, or can we choose our own? Some wedding venues in the USA insist that you must use their preferred vendors. This may be a restriction; however, the venues preferred vendors have worked with the venue before and have plenty of knowledge about how the venue operates. Using the preferred vendors of the venue could also save you money since they have strong relationships with the Let World Class Wedding Venues help you find your perfect US wedding venue location.
