The US Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires hyperbaric facilities be compliant with the 2012 edition of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (LSC)and NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code (HCFC)
The LSC is a set of fire protection requirements designed to provide a reasonable degree of safety from fire.
The HCFC is a set requirements intended to provide minimum requirements for the installation, inspection, testing, performance & safe practices for facilities, material & appliances.
