Program Educational Objectives The program educational objectives for the EE undergraduate degree program were redefined in the Fall of 2009 as follows: • Graduates are employable within the discipline or closely related field or are able to pursue graduate education. • Graduates are engaged in pursuing professional endeavors as evidenced by a. Continuing education b. Professional activities/visibility c. Entrepreneurial activities
Program Constituencies The program constituencies in 2011 Self-study include: • Students and their families • Alumni • Employers • Society at large Propose to add • IAB • Co-op Employers (input through a mail survey)
PEO Assessment and Evaluation Schedule for EE Program: 2011 Self-Study Version
Proposed Action Item:Setup PEO Committees for EE and CSE • Need to form a PEO Committee for each degree program. • ABET Coordinator should be a non-voting member-at-large for both committees. • A PEO committee should have 3 faculty members with non-overlapping expertise wrt undergraduate degree specializations or elective/advanced course offerings.
