EMCAL plans • Swap an RCU+DCS board (Terry). This board started to give CDH errors at a low rate over the last weeks. It became worse recently and has been taken out the EMCal readout, disabling the readout of 1/2 of a SM (1/8 of installed EMCal acceptance). This will be a few hours work to replace and test. It's located on the A-side of EMCal. • Repair a TRU trigger unit board (Jiri) on the C-side (1 of 12 installed). This was recovered during the last access, but it didn't remain long without problems. This would similarly be an access of a few hours. Technical issues, planning
TPC plans 1. Displacement of a crate from a rack to the adjacent one in the C area: • we estimate this activity will take about 4 hours; • people involved: L. Musa, A. Junique, S. Rambaut. 2. Replacement of 1 FECc in sector A00 (rp5, br B, FEC 0): • we estimate this activity will take 1/2 day • people involved: A. Junique, S. Rambaut, Y. Lesenechal. Technical issues, planning
TRD plans • Access to TRD switches in I08, O08, C17,C18: • check of switch status and cabling (especially I-side switches) review space, cable length etc. for eventually moving C switches to C19. Two persons in Cavern for 1 hour • Measure LV at SM bus bars (inside L3 - sector 07, C-side) • LV readings close to acceptable minimum • Two persons in L3 for 30 min. on Wed Technical issues, planning
SPD plans Monday 31/05/2010 • 9 – 12: access to the cavern + RP cooling procedure (EN-CV) • fill up the bottle with new freon (Claudio) • 14 – 18: put the plant in safe mode (STOP + lines locked) and replace the freon Tuesday 01/06/2010 • 9 – 12: get to PP4 (ASAP) to replace the filters, close and vacuum the loops • 14 – 18: ● quick leak test ● restart the plant and re-tuning of flow with new filters • 18 – onwards: restart the detector Wednesday 02/06/2010 9 – 17: Operation on the plant in case of problems, delays or fine tuning Technical issues, planning
