  3. Short Term Experience Abroad Module ( STEAM) A short term summer abroad program for 2nd and 3rd year college students in India Designed to enhance your current education with a global perspective A 3-4 week educational and cross-cultural adventure

Features Students will attend either the University of Minnesota (ranked 28th) or the University of Iowa (ranked 26th) Experience global education at its best Attend one 3 Credit class related to your academic field of interest Participate in cultural and social events with students at the home campus Give back to the community through a Service Learning opportunity Visit related industries to gain an insight into American corporations

  5. Program cost Cost: Rs. 2,50,000 includes Round trip economy class ticket Accommodation and Food All travel within the US Travel health Insurance Admission to social and cultural programs, etc. NOT INCLUDED: Passport & Visa fees, Personal expenses like shopping, additional food, souvenirs etc.

Timeline Feb 15th: Application deadline March 1st: Selected candidates should make a Rs.1,25,000 deposit March 15th: Complete all other necessary paperwork – insurance, travel docs etc. March 30th: Balance Rs. 1,25,000 due Early April: Travel to Chennai for the Visa May 5th: Pre-departure orientation for students and parents May12th : Travel to the U.S.
