This work package focuses on defining criteria and indicators to compare the societal cost of fishing activities in marine protected areas and unprotected zones. The proposed criteria and indicators will contribute to understanding the societal cost induced by fishing activities in these different areas. The list and description of each criterion and indicator will be provided, along with clarification on requirements, data sources, survey design, survey area, and the responsible party for each selected indicator.
