Winnie lives her with her parents and grandmother who trap her in there because they don’t want her to be exposed to the outside world. Tuck’s house The Tuck’s house is home to Jesse, Miles, Mae, and Angus Tuck. Tuck’s house is very homely with wood shaving high and low in a cozy way. It is in the middle of the forest by a pond. That only Winnie and the Tucks know where it is.

Problem • Winnie has to decide weather to drink the water or not • Man-in-Yellow Suit took the wood from the Fosters and went to get Winnie back • Mae hits Man-in-Yellow Suit over the head with a shotgun stock and killed him • Mae was sent to get hung but Winnie and the other Tucks got her out of jail

  7. Plot • Winnie threw rocks at the toad because of boredom • Man-in-Yellow Suit shows up and asks Winnie if she has seen the Tucks • Winnie’s grandmother comes to see who she is talking to and they here the “elf music” • Winnie ran away from her house into the wood • She saw Jesse at the spring drinking the water • Jesse, Miles, and Mae explain their stories to Winnie • She was taken to the Tuck’s house • Angus tells here his story • Man-in-Yellow Suit “steals” the Wood • Man-in-Yellow Suit shows up during dinner • Mae hits and kills the Man-in-Yellow Suit • Mae was sent to get hung
