The Let’s Talk Science Partnership Program National Statistics It started in1991 at the University of Western Ontario and went national in 1993 when McMaster and the University of Ottawa began their LTSPP’s. In 2007-2008, the LTSPP’s in 26 post-secondary institutions had approximately 1500 volunteers that reached over 111 000 Canadians with science outreach activities.

Allison Ransom Graduate of LU’s English School of Education. Volunteered with us in 2007-2008. She "discovered" our program while searching for science fair resources. Allison organized a presentation of our science fair resources for the education students. As volunteer she was a mentor for students in the Extreme VR Science Fair at Lasalle SS, shared our Astronomy Kit with students from Sturgeon Falls and assisted with a Climate Change presentation. She currently is a first year teacher at Bishop Alexander Carter High School in Hanmer teaching English and Science. Allison continues to give back to the community as a palliative care volunteer at Maison Vale Inco Sudbury Hospice. “If you want to be incrementally better be competitive.
