Congrats to the varsity boys and girls soccer teams. Girls ended their season in 4th place overall in the region. Boys ended the regular season in 3rd place. Both are going to the playoffs. Girls play Heritage High School April 30th. Boys play Gainesville HS April 29th in the first round of the playoffs. Also congratulations to the athletes selected as DeKalb County Soccer All Star Team. Tucker HS Prom Location • W-Downtown Atlanta ( near Centennial Park) • 45 Ivan Allen Blvd NW, Atlanta • Saturday, April 26th 7pm-11pm • Prom location on the 4th floor-TAKE ELEVATOR TO 4TH FLOOR- We have the entire floor as our event space. • Parking - $15-$25 cash. You must pay for open parking lots with no attendant or you will get towed. Valet is $15. • Senior Walk- since there are 265+ seniors coming this year, Senior Walk will begin at 8pm. It is NOT mandatory that you participate in Senior Walk. It will not be done later. • Admission- No tickets/invitations issued. There is a formal check-in table. Bring your ID. Please note Ms. Perdum will supervise check-ins. • No date form on file- no date admission • No refunds.
To All Former Livsey Elementary Students! ASVAB (Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery) results have arrived. Students will receive test scores and have those scores interpreted by Military Professionals on Friday April 25, 2014 @ 8am in the Tucker High School Auditorium. All students who took the ASVAB on March 4, 2014 should report to the Auditorium when they arrive at school.
IEC Atlanta is now accepting applications for Apprenticeship. Positions are available for varying levels of experience. How to Apply? Walk in Monday through Thursday at 10am, 2pm or 4pm to complete the application. There is a $10 application fee. Be prepared to pass a general math assessment. IEC Contractors are hiring! Apply for a Nordstrom Scholarship! Eligible high school juniors may go to www.nordstrom.com/scholarship to submit their application, which is due May 1, 2014 at 3PM PST! ELIGIBILITY The Nordstrom Scholarship is open to high school juniors who: Live and attend school in a state with a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store. Not sure if there's a store in your state? See our store locations . Have at least a 2.7 GPA. Volunteer or participate in community service or extracurricular activities. Plan on attending an accredited college or university during all four years over which the scholarship is distributed. (The scholarship is paid out in equal installments of $2,500.) Plan on applying for financial assistance in order to attend college.

Student Parking Alert Due to issues concerning student parking we have established the following policy concerning students parking without parking passes and parking in areas designated only for staff and visitors parking. Any student parking on campus during school hours or parking in areas where student parking is prohibited will have their cars booted by campus security. For those student vehicles that are booted, the parents of those students will be required to meet with an administrator in order to have the vehicles released to the parent. In the case of secondary violations, students will face the possibility of out of school suspension. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter as we continue to provide a safe environment for our students and staff.
Textbook collection will be held every Friday from 7:30am until 2:30pm. Please have students see Mr. Stanley in the front office to pay for any lost of damaged text books and also to check the status for any lost books to see if they have been returned.
