  2. What is PACHC What is PACHC? Pennsylvania’s Primary Care Association, representing federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), FQHC Look-Alikes, rural health clinics (RHCs), and other like-mission primary care providers

  3. National FQHC Facts • More than 8000 clinical locations in every state and U.S. territory • Largest primary care network in the country with a patient base of 19 million people, eclipsing the largest private provider, Kaiser Permanente, which serves 9 million clients • Past 6 years, have added 3200 physicians and more than 2000 PAs and CRNPs • Generate an estimated $12.6 billion for local economies • Generate, when both direct and indirect effects are factored, more than 150,000 jobs

  4. Some Quick Facts on Pennsylvania FQHCs • Serve more than 700,000 people annually in PA at more than 200 sites • Provide more than 2 million visits annually • Contribute more than $370 million to economies of local communities • Provide more than 2600 FTE jobs in PA

  7. Started in 1995 • Supported from a contract by the Office of Rural Health Policy, HRSA, and HHS • Members in all 50 states, as well as the Northern Mariana Islands and the Cherokee Nation National Rural Recruitment & Retention Network

  8. Serves as a clearinghouse for over 5,000 communities across the country where medical professionals connect with federal, state, local and other medical staff recruiters • 2,859 Opportunities • 37,051 Candidates • 19,572 Physicians What does 3RNet do?

  9. 3RNet provides a national presence where states place information and job postings • Members are non-profit state agencies recruiting primary care professionals • Candidates register to learn about rural and underserved communities • Members access candidate information, as well as library of resources How does 3RNet Work?
