Templates During The IEP Meeting Templates are a wonderful way to “bring together” team members during the meeting by making corrections and refinements on the “fly.” No technology: paper-based review making pen and ink changes One computer/printer: District Admin. (team meeting notes) Two computers/printer: District Admin. and Case Manager Using templates/pictures & videos within a MS PowerPoint is a great way to support your meetings and will reduce time in your meetings. 1edweb@1edweb.com
Seating During The IEP Meeting Be proactive and ensure team members are seated to accommodate non confrontation communications. I have found it beneficial to have my parent (s) sit to my left and district administrator on my right. I use a desktop computer for my administrator and a laptop with the parent. I duplicate what I am presenting on related service professional laptops (should they bring one to the meeting.) 1edweb@1edweb.com
