  2. Purpose of Team Contract • Clarifies team goals & strategies used to meet them • Increases commitment to goals • Sets expectations for behavior • Holds members individually accountable • Sets standards used to evaluate peer performance.

Writing a Team Contract • What are your common goals for this class? • What procedures will you use? • What do you expect (behavior, quality/quantity of work, attitude, conflict management, communication, attendance, etc.) out of each other? • Norms you want to promote? • How can you hold one another accountable for team outcomes? • Can specify roles/ responsibilities/ timelines or agendas • Can specify consequences for not following procedures or fulfilling expectations.

  4. Homework • Type up a team contract • Be as specific as possible!!! Trust me! • 1-3 pages • All team must members sign & date • Due April 19th.
