Asian Soybean Rust, 2006 ► samples filtered in entirety at NADP Central Analytical Laboratory ► filters desiccated, sealed in Petri dishes, and sent to Cereal Disease Lab (CDL) ► filters sonicated at CDL to remove spores ► CDL tests for Phakopsora pachyrhizi using nested real-time qPCR ► positive assay indicates presence of P. pachyrhizi spores in rain 110 National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) National Trends Network (NTN) sites in this study
Asian Soybean Rust, 2006 06 June This map displays counties where P. pachyrhizi was detected in soybean or other legumes between January and the week ending 6 June. The map also displays where spores were detected in rain samples collected 3 weeks prior to the week ending 6 June (i.e., in rain occurring between 9 & 30 May).
