  6. Coumadin derivative • Coumadin • Antagonizes production of vitamin K factors • Prevents DVT • Used in patients in heart valve surgery • Takes days to reach effect • Antiplatelet drugs • Prevents thromboembolism • Plavix, ASA Anticoagulatants
