At the Checkout Desk • Did you return your books in the book drop? • Choose a book • Go to the Checkout Desk • Be QUIET in line • Put the book barcode on top • Tell us your lunch number and your name • Remember to say “Thank You”

How Books Can Get Lost • If you stop reading it. • If you forget about it and leave it somewhere. • If you let your friends borrow your library books.
Keep your book on a “leash.” You wouldn’t leave your precious puppy in the park by himself, would you?
Important to Remember… • Talk quietly & use whisper voices. • No candy or gum in the library! • Use spare time for reading. • Don’t lose your books, or lend them to other kids. • Walk, don’t run. • Be kind to others. • Allow others to go first.
