Memandangkan negara kita akan menganjurkan perlumbaan kereta ‘Formula One’ pada tahun 1999, acara tersebut boleh dijadikan acara tahunan utama untuk menarik minat pelancong mengunjungi Malaysia. Bagi tujuan ini, saya mencadangkan galakan cukai seperti berikut:i.pengecualian cukai diberi ke atas pendapatan yang diperolehi oleh pelumba kereta "Formula One" dan lain-lain perlumbaan bermotor yang diiktiraf yang diadakan di Malaysia; dan ii.penganjur perlumbaan "Formula One" dan lain-lain perlumbaan bermotor yang diiktiraf yang diadakan di Malaysia diberi pengecualian cukai sebanyak 50 peratus ke atas pendapatan yang diperolehinya.
