  3. Classifiers are signs that use handshapes that are associated with specific categories (classes) of size, shape, or usage.

  5. Handshapes vs. Classifiers The handshape of a sign is literally the shape (or shapes) in which we form our hand during the production of a sign. Classifiers are signs that use handshapes that are associated with specific categories (classes) of size, shape, or usage.

  7. 6 Classifiers to use for Describing the following: The Living Room. • Classifier "B" is used to show "flat" things like: paper, surfaces, tables, countertops, shelves, etc • CL: “BB” (Palm Facing Outward) use for: Pictures, posters, and Doors • CL: “BBB” Palm facing toward you. Use for : Mirrors and reflections • CL: “A” can be used as a building, a house, a trophy, a statue, and similar concepts OR use the classifier to show where it is located, or what is near it. • CL: G indicate the quality of "thinness" or "things that are thin.“ • CL: 0 or 5. Showers, Sun, Lights on or off, Flashing, and placement of Light
