  16. KS 1 Data • The KS1 English level is calculated from the reading and writing levels. • An average of the point scores of the two components gives a points score for English. • If there is only a points score in reading or in only writing, then this is taken as the English points score

Other Uses • KS4 Comparison of Exam & final assessment • Combine Higher & Foundation Paper results into 1 aspect for comparison purposes • Monitor the progress of vulnerable groups by pupil using Discover Groups. • Levels of progress achieved tracking grids could be used IF a “false” grade set is created i.e. create a numerical grade set.
