Another fact to keep in mind is jam could be as healthy as the fruit, again, if it is not overly processed with lots of sugar and preservatives. Getting into a debate around which fruit jam is healthier is a bigger discussion, although my choice would always be for either strawberry preserves & jam or orange marmalade & preserves.
