My first research question. What was life under Maummar Gaddafi?
Families of Libya • In 1971 any library or church that was externally influenced by other religions were closed. There beliefs theory based on the political philosophy in Gadaffi's Green Book, which combines socialist and Islamic theories and rejects democracy and political parties.
People that disagree with Maummar • In the late 1970s and early ’80s, he eliminated even mild critics through public trials and executions. Kangaroo courts were staged on soccer fields or basketball courts, where the accused were interrogated, as they begged for their lives. The events were televised to make sure that no Libyan missed the point. • *Kangaroo Court: Gives impression of a fair and legal court but really no one can defend themselves
People that disagree with Maummar 2 • The bodies of one group of students hanged in downtown Tripoli’s main square were left there to rot for a week, opposition figures said, and traffic was rerouted to force cars to pass by.
My second research question. What happened during the revolution?
How where homes effected by war • living room walls were destroyed by artillery shells, and blackened concrete caused by the fires

How is there economy • Banks are open again, too, while businesses and shops are slowly returning to normal • Oil production, vital to the country's economy, is now at 500,000 barrels a day
What are the rebels plans • Many of the local militia leaders who helped topple Muammar Gadaffi are abandoning a pledge to give up their weapons and now say they intend to preserve their guns and influence political decisions as “guardians of the revolution.” • There have already been clashes between armed groups. fighters from Zintan and Misurata fought briefly at the Tripoli international airport, leaving about three dead
Conclusion • What should be done is uniting the tribes to form a government. This will prevent further fights between the groups
