Definitions of hate on the Web: dislike intensely; feel antipathy or aversion towards; "I hate Mexican food"; "She detests politicians" the emotion of intense dislike; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action Hatred is a word to describe immense feelings of dislike toward someone or something, as well as prejudice or bigotry against a class of people, racism being a prominent example of this. The term hate crime is used to designate crimes committed out of hatred in this sense.
