  1. What if [WE]ek By Jess, Sharon, Michelle, Emily, Tristan, and Sean

  2. DATA • 112 surveys total (45 paper, 67 online) • There was no apparent connection between the activities people did on campus and the problems they found. Our three main issues: • Self-image • Stress • Cliques

  3. Pre- What if Week • Make a “What if we knew” promo for What if Week and publicize it on social network sites. • Sunday before What if Week decorate the entire school the way we do for spirit weeks. • Positive and happy decorations to set the vibe

  4. Monday: what if WE… …could relax Many students find stress to be a very prominent problem on campus. We want them to take a step back and relax for once. • This day would be a lazy wear spirit day. • Give out hot chocolate in the morning since it’s a late start • Play music at break and at lunch. Start up a dance in the quad • Pass out stress balls in throughout the day. • 200 stress balls for a total of $96 ($0.48 each)

  5. Tuesday: what if WE… …knew our worth According to the surveys, many people struggle with self-image issues or see it as a big problem in our school. We want to remind them they are loved and have worth. • Put uplifting post-it notes on all bathroom mirrors, lockers, etc. • Have compliment sheets available during morning, break, and lunch. In ASB, we hang them on a string across the quad.

  6. Wednesday: what if WE… … knew we are not alone We noticed from our data that a lot of students at WHS struggle with the same issues. We designed this day with the goal of students relating to one another and realizing they are not alone with their struggles. • Display a “Personal Story” video on Warrior TV • Pass out anonymous “You may not know that…” cards during homeroom, and then put all the cards on a big display board.

  7. Thursday: what if WE… … came together The most recurring problem we found on the surveys was that our school has cliques and social status. We want to bring the feeling of unison and togetherness. • Have a picnic social during lunch on the field. • Bring blankets, lemonade, sandwiches, etc. • Play music • Have soccer balls and footballs laying around • Warrior Walk at break • Drum line, music • Pass out party hats, noise makers, etc.

  8. Friday: what if WE… … made a difference This day is dedicated to reflect upon everything we have done during the week. We want everyone to continue on making a difference. • Mike Smith assembly • Pass out little yarn string bracelets to everyone after the assembly as a reminder of What if Week and to keep making a difference.

  9. Budget • Hot Chocolate: $60.00 (30 packs at $2.00 a pack) • Stress Balls: $96.00 (200 at $0.48 each) • Post-its: $20.00 (2 packs with 1,200 notes each; $10.00 a pack) • Lemonade: roughly $20.00 ($9.44 per pack of powder mix) • Togo’s sandwiches: $65.00 for party platter (serves up to 200) • Party Hats: $39.00 (100 for $0.39) • Party Noisemakers: $15 • Yarn: $16.00 (four rolls; $4.00 each) Total: $331
