  2. Purpose • Change people’s behaviors to save energy and utility costs.

  3. One Simple Step Instructional Videos • Series of 10 short videos posted on YouTube. • Simple step-by-step instructions on how to do simple things to make a home more energy efficient. • Produced by NEAN to demonstrate how easy it is to take that One Simple Step. • You can upload videos to your website, play them in your waiting rooms and show them during home visits.

  4. NEAN Education Resources • Link nebraskaenergyassistance.com to your website. • This page will link you to all of the campaign resources and instructional YouTube videos.

  5. Public Service Announcements and News Release • Two 30-second live announcer radio commercials will tell the general public about the One Simple Step education campaign. • Ask the local radio stations to air these at no cost. • A news release template is included for you to localize and submit to your newspaper for publication.

  6. Printed Materials • The templates for these are available on the NEAN website and enclosed DVD. • You may download them, brand them with your logo and print the quantity you need. • The printed materials reinforce the information on the videos.

  7. Printed Materials: Bookmark • 10 simple steps to make your home more energy efficient. • Give them to consumers. • Put them in the library. • Give away at information booths.

  8. Printed Materials: Table Tent • Place these in your waiting rooms to remind people to do One Simple Step.

  9. Printed Materials: Poster • Place on bulletin boards and in windows. • Place at hardware stores, lumber yards or anywhere residents shop.

  10. Printed Materials: Letterhead • For news releases and other correspondence.

  11. One Simple Step DVD • 10 One Simple Step videos are on the DVD included with the kit and can also be downloaded from YouTube. • Link the YouTube videos to your website by going to nebraskaenergyassistance.com. • These materials are produced by NEAN with funding from a grant from the Nebraska Energy Office.
