  2. My research project • I am honored to be a "Young Assistant Researcher’" in RISE, the topic of my research is “what do people think about learning English”. The research project is divided into two parts: interview and survey. I have collected the views of 12 people. I surveyed five children and one adult, and I interviewed five children and one adult. I interviewed some people at home, and some at school.

Children should learn how to make presentations in English. • 8. Singing songs is a fun way to learn English. • 9. Children should learn English by doing projects and activities.

Conclusions • 63% of interviewees think Chinese students should learn English. • Most of the interviewees agree that learning English will help children at school and will help people do their work. • 67% of the interviewees can’t read an English story every day. • All of the interviewees think that watching movies is a fun way to learn English.
