  3. Teaching: a process of imparting knowledge and skills from a teacher to a learner. • Approach: the attitude towards an event, point of view,and perspective. • Teaching approach: teachers attitude behavior and applied methods towards a learner.

  10. There is no "best teaching approach". However, there are some recognised teaching methods together with a range of learning theories and some principles for good practice in undergraduate and postgraduate education.

  11. Being a reflective teacher and striving for excellence in teaching means considering each aspect of your teaching approach to ensure that you are doing your best to facilitate student learning.
