  5. To be Lutheran is to be ecumenical!

  6. The church participates in God’s holistic mission

  7. A task ahead: coherence and balance in holistic mission

  8. The LWF has many centers! (polycentric nature of the LWF)

  9. Every church has something to give; Every church is in need to receive;

  10. The need to engage in transcontextual dialogue

  11. Solus contextus? (context alone?)

  12. Inclusive communion

  13. Quotas ensure space, but not participation

  14. The LWF belongs to the member churches

  15. Diakonia at the heart of the LWF

  16. No to a « communio incorvata in se ipsa » (communion curved in on itself)

  17. Man has survived hitherto Because he was too ignorant to knowHow to realize his wishes.Now that he can realize them,He must either change themOr perish.
