  4. The Empire State Building • It is the most famous skyscraper in New York. • It was built in 1931. • It was the tallest building in the world for 40 years. • It has 102 floors and on a clear day you can see for 120 km from the top.

  5. New York • PeoplefromcountrieslikePoland, Italy, China, Irelandcame to find a new lifethere. • In New York are manymuseums, artgalleries, theatres and nightclubs, thousandsofrestaurants and shops, icludingthebiggestshop in theworld, Macy’s.
