Bach is one of the most well-researched composers • Flood of new publications every year • Research becoming increasingly specialized and fragmented: • Biographical Studies, Historical Studies, Manuscript Studies, Compositional Process, Rhetorical Approach, Music Analysis, Symbolism, Theological Studies, Mathematical Approach, Historical Performance, Interpretation, etc. • Difficult to follow the latest research
