Project Background • The historic Hinkle Fieldhouse is home to Butler Bulldog basketball, as well as other division 1 sports and with the recent success in national basketball tournaments has decided to renovate most of the fieldhouse locker rooms, athletic offices, concessions, alumni club, weight room, sports medicine facilities, restrooms, etc. Hinkle Fieldhouse was originally built in 1928.
Project Goal • For Butler University Athletics to upgrade most of the athletic and classroom areas in Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Fieldhouse is home to BB, VB, football, baseball, softball, golf, tennis and campus PE. Butler athletics is committed to keeping the original aesthetic look while improving areas. The renovation will enhance 1) The student athlete experience and building life and 2) The fan experience and athletic office improvements.
