Multi Media Journalist The Multi Media Journalist enterprises, researches, writes, shoots, edits and reports news oriented material for presentation live and on tape. The position collaborates with the assignment desk, producers, and managers on story development, and story execution. Must also be able to operate ENG microwave truck. Education:Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience will be consideredExperience:One to three years of reporting broadcast journalism. One to two years of experience shooting. At least two years of reporting news at a commercial television station is preferred.Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong writing, editing and shooting skills.Good news gathering skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Strong on-air presence.Must possess a valid Driver's License.Experience with Avid and Inews preferred.Proficiency with MS Office.
