  2. Session Objectives Students will be able to develop and articulate their call in the context of the Great Commission and the Ministry of Reconciliation.

  3. Session Objectives Students will be able to develop and utilize self-reflection strategies to improve the performance and quality of ministry.

  4. What is our ministry? Is it music? Is it prayer? Is it buildings? Is it housing projects? Is it organizations? It is television ministries?

  5. What is our ministry? Read Matthew 28:19 -20 Read Acts 1:8 Please read these text in more than one version/translation of the Bible

  6. The Great Commission • Make disciples of all nations • Baptize in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit • Teach them to observe all that I (Jesus) have commanded you

  7. The Great Commission You will be my witnesses • In Jerusalem (home) • In Judea (surrounding area) • In Samaria (foreign regions) • And the ends of the earth (all over the world)

  9. Ministry of Reconciliation God through Christ reconciled us to Himself. God gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

  10. Ministry of Reconciliation God through Christ was reconciling the world to Himself. God entrusted us with the message of reconciliation.

  11. Ministry In Context After your reading today regarding the Great Commission and the Ministry of Reconciliation; you should be able to share what we have been called to do in its proper context.
