  4. GO for the GOLD, cont’d. • 1% decline in Gold % since end of 2009,  but..... • comparing 9 NW Ga Adv Mfg - West counties to 13 'Auto Alley counties • all Region high schools offered WR Assessments to seniors • experiencing slight, spot decline in WR assessments administered

  5. CWRC Counties - Attained • 7 Counties achieved CWRC: • Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon* • Polk, Walker, Whitfield • 2 counties committed to CWRC: • Dade - 77.4% HSGR • Murray - 76.6% HSGR • all nine counties exceeded 76% HSGR for '09/'10 school year

Talent Management - Develop • met with public school superintendents at RESA Q meeting: • reviewed progress under 'Auto Alley' • presented new 'Sustaining WRR - West' • informed them of new 'NW Ga WRR - East' • reviewed Industry Survey results - critical jobs • presented STEM proposal for middle school instructors • thanked them for support of WR, i.e. WR Assessments for seniors • thanked them for attending Feb combined Industry/Home Team meetings(2)

Career Pathways - Develop • Industry Surveys complete • 4 or 5 critical jobs identified • 1 Career Pathway, Robotic/PLA/Automation Tech, completed in '09 • 3 Career Pathways planned for completion this year: • 1st Line Supervisor • Electrical Maintenance Tech • Mechanical Maintenance Tech • 4th CP pending this year or next: Process/Quality Control Technician • GNTC/NWG Adv Mfg - West Region Job Profiles • 82 completed to date • 16 completed since 1/1/11 • 22 in process

Industry Networks - Maintain • Core/Industry/Home Team meetings held jointly with GWRRIN Region • GWRRIN member on Leadership Team (1) • GWRRIN members on Core Team(4) • shared Coordinator via NWGRC (SH) • Conducted Industry Survey on behalf of GWRRIN • Established relationship with GAMA - Georgia Automotive Manufacturers Association
