  1. Interpretative Reading By Jordan I. Nixon

  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_fDhqRk_RoOurDeepest Fearby Marianne Williamson • “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

  3. My perspective • I agree with the message, but I don't agree with it's beginning. I've never met a person who didn't wish they were powerful beyond measure. I believe we all are already, and the potential that is meant to come out, will come out, forced from the growth made from resistance in everyday living. So in that sense, I agree. • I think this quote could be interpreted as talking about people's feelings of self-worth, and believing that they're genuinely entitled to success and happiness and a life of reward. • Sources:http://www.poets.org/page.php/prmID/199 • http://www.poetryfoundation.org
