Children responded well to teen helpers’ ‘The organisation of the scheme went well and the marketing and preparation. Outreach was good around local schools and communities. Also the text campaign really helped towards spreading the work about the scheme’ ‘Lots of cheap resources – Oadby Resource Centre/boxes from Asda What do you think went well in 2013? ‘Outdoor activities were very popular this year, possibly due to a higher ratio of boys. Cooking was also a highly requested activity. We successfully accessed free play training sessions through the District Council which reflected in some of the fun free play sessions’ Playing with large boxes, using imagination and creativity.
