Title= Consonance Consonance: repetition of the same consonant sound before *or* after different vowel sounds Example: The heavy metal concert sold out before I could buy a ticket. Now, find and underline the consonance in the following sentences. visualparadox.com 1. Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother’s house we go. 2. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose. HINT: Which consonant do you hear most frequently in each sentence?

Fill them in your theme chart (front side) where they would best make sense and truly illustrate the theme. Decide who said them, and explain how the quote reveals the theme. • “…it were no witch I blamed her for. I have broke charity with the woman…” (182). • “My name is good in the village!
