  1. MX250 V3.0 Call Recording, Archive and Archive Viewer

  2. MX250 Version 3.0 Archive • Previous versions of Archive only archived IM’s • Version 3 adds: • Fax • Call recordings • Voicemail • Version 3.0 also introduces an ‘Archive Viewer’

  3. Configuration • Method of configuration remains the same – there are just more options to check!

  4. Configuration cont… • From the MX’s Web screen – download the Archive software, install it on a Windows server and point it to the MX. Create a folder on the server for the archive, then start the service.

  5. Configuring full time and on demand call recording • This is done at the profile level for each user • Call recordings on demand will appear in the users Call recording inbox as usual and will be archived. • Automatic Call recordings will get archived and can be retrieved from the viewer in MXIE • Set the rights for the profile

  6. Call Recording Access • Setting up Call recording Access effectively sets up the user as an administrator laying out privileges as the options are checked

  7. Archiving API • There is currently no API available for the Archiving of call recordings. • This is planned for a future release

  8. Configuring Call recording…. • Assign the users to the appropriate call recording profiles • Note: no call recording capacities have changed on the MX in 3.0

  9. Automatic Call recordings • Automatic call recordings can be viewed and or manipulated from MXIE depending on the rights assigned to the user form the profile.

  10. Call Recording And Archiver • Full time call recording does not require the Archiver to operate! • The MX has 10Gb of disk space reserved for full time call recording. • This equates to 720 hours of single session call recording or 12 hours using all 60 sessions. • After this the oldest recording will be overwritten first. • The only way to then keep the recordings is to do REGULAR backups of the system. • The ability to search / query recordings is then essentially lost! ……. So try to sell them together!!!

  11. Archive Viewer • Install the Archive Access viewer in a windows machine from the web screen of the MX • Once the application is installed, point it at the archive server and enter the archivers password

  12. Query builder • A simple intuitive interface to help you find what you are looking for • Builds the rules for you in a similar manner that Notification works in MXIE. • Once you build the Query – click on Execute…..

  13. Query Results • Upon Execution the results will be displayed in a new window.

  14. Call recording Analysis • Clicking on a call recording will provide the ability to playback the recording as well as provide all call details…. Time, date, Caller ID’s etc

  15. IM, VM and Fax analysis • IM’s, VM’s and faxes are all presented in the same manor as Call recordings on the previous screen.

  16. Searching • This is an alternative to building a query! All search results will be displayed in a new window….. • All results can be exported on demand.
