To ‘e’ or not to ‘e’…. …that is the question. Opiniometer. I like tripe soup. Opiniometer. I think e-learning could be a useful addition to our courses. Drawbacks. A lot of time and energy (cost) may need to be devoted to developing materials.

  4. Drawbacks • A lot of time and energy (cost) may need to be devoted to developing materials. • Not every school has the technical skills to manage and maintain these systems. • Learners may need to be ‘persuaded’ to use the materials.

Benefits • Extend your geographical boundaries. • Reach people who normally cannot attend because they are ‘housebound’. • Make your courses more flexible to adapt to learners’ time constraints. • Increase the intensity of your regular courses. • Access teaching talent outside of your town. • Offer your clients more hours for the same money (marketing). • Gain prestige. • Earn more.
