FOUR STAR SCHOOL • Top 25% of all schools in the combined passing percentages for English/LA and Math for each grade level. • Top 25% of all schools for percentage of students passing both portions of ISTEP+. A school must be in the top 25th percentile for each grade level. • Only approximately 10% of schools receive this designation

Teaming • Each team consists of 4 teachers…Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies • Supply lists will be supplied for each team on Textbook Rental Day.
Things to Remember: • Plan to attend Textbook Rental Day on July 22ndfrom 7:00 am-7:00 pm. • Practice walking your schedule and opening your locker BEFORE the start of school • Remember your bus number!

Electronic Devices • Please do not bring electronic devices to school! • E-Readers are permitted with written parent permission and teacher discretion. • Cell phones must be kept turned off during the school day and in lockers! No headphones are permitted. IPODS/MP3 players Cell Phones Video Games
Daily Drop Off and Pick Up procedures Drop off and pick up in the front of building Enter the south entrance from Dan Jones Rd. SAFETY FIRST!!!

Athletic Eligibility Guidelines • Student-Athlete! • Grades are important! Students must pass all classes. • Athletes must be present in school for at least 4 of the 7 class periods to be eligible for participation in practice or any contest. • Discipline is tracked. • No more than one major discipline or eight total disciplinary referrals. (A major referral is one that results in a Saturday School or Suspension).
