Questions • What is good about living in Europe? What do you (not) like about it? • Would you prefer Euro or a currency just for your own country? Why? What do you think are the advantages of Euro? • Do you know how they make laws in Europe? • Have you ever thought about working in another European country? Why/why not? Do you think it would be easy? • Do you think in the future the EU will include more countries and maybe be similar to the USA? Or will it fall apart? • What do you think would be a good strategy to make the communication in Europe better?
Answers • The countries are close and have no borders between them so it’s easy to travel and communicate with other Europeans and see other cultures. • Euro because it makes travelling more comfortable and somehow brings people from different countries closer. • Yes and it’s really hard to understand how the laws are made. It should be a bit more easier so we could understand it better. • Yes because it’s interesting to see other cultures and working systems, also to get ordinary experiences. • Europe will definitely include more countries in the future, but it’s actually quite hard to predict. • It’s good to continue with programs like Comenius and to encourage people to learn english and work abroad.
Opinion on the answers • The answers didn’t really surprise us because our answers would’ve been really similar if not the same.
Conclusion • Activities like Comenius are really good for improving the communication between different European nations, especially amongst youngsters • Learning english and the usage of Euro will help us a lot in the future to become closer, but we also need to maintain our different cultures
